Editing Tracks — Tracks and Media

Tracks and Media

Track editing is done in the Timeline view which is most useful for synchronizing chords (sections) to audio or videos. Seeing everything in relation and being able to scrub in time facilitates the process.

Movies and audio reference tracks can be edited into regions. This type of editing is called “non-destructive” which means that it doesn’t affect the original files - just the regions. All editing operations can be undone.

Note that these functions were developed for light editing and synchronization of video and audio with the slides’s sections. It is therefore well-advised to keep the video length for each slide as short as possible. Bellow 2 minutes, if possible. It’s better to break down longer videos into smaller clips across many slides -- as this makes for better music lessons.
